Boycott Oakley Sunglasses!

philippine boycott on oakley sunglasses

President of major Oakley Sunglasses distributor in the Philippines WANTED for HOMICIDE!

Calls for a nationwide boycott of Oakley sunglasses are being raised in the Philippines as Rajiv Dargani, the president of Sunglass Hut Philippines (a major distributor of Oakley sunglasses),  continues to hide from justice after killing one person and maiming another in a horrific traffic collision on Mckinley Road in Makati ten days ago.

Various news reports say that Dargani rammed his R-8 Audi with plate number JVV-88 head-on into another Audi on Mckinley Road, causing the second Audi to crash into a motorcycle carrying a driver and a passenger.

The driver of the motorcycle, Henrix Bernardo, died instantly; while his passenger, Glenn Nacion Jr., was brought to the Ospital ng Makati where he was treated for severe injuries.  The accident severely mangled the leg of Nacion causing doctors at Ospital ng Makati to decide on amputating it.

A witness at the scene of the accident contacting us through this site’s feedback page said that despite the bloody carnage and please for help, Dargani seemed unmoved as he sped away in his Audi, refusing to get out of his car to help the two victims.

It was reported that Dargani drove his car into Dasmarinas village, telling the security guards of the posh subdivision to refuse entry to anyone chasing after his vehicle.

WARRANT FOR ARREST

Police have given Dargani two deadlines to surrender and enter his statement into police records after fleeing the scene of the accident.  The president of Sunglass Hut Philippines failed to appear on both occassions, causing the police to threaten to elevate the matter to the city’s fiscal or prosecutors’ office.

Police say Dargani will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, physical injuries, and abandonment of victims.  Once elevated to the fiscal level, an arrest warrant will be issued against Dargani.

An emissary of Dargani sent to the police station which responded to the accident said that Dargani was recuperating from the stress and trauma he suffered after causing the accident.

ATTEMPT TO FLEE THE COUNTRY

Last night, our sources tipped us off that Dargani was seen at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal I, where he appeared to be attempting to board a flight out of the country.

We are still trying to verify this lead at this time.

Nevertheless, at least one columnist has aired an appeal to Department of Justice Secretary Leila de Lima to issue a hold departure order against Dargani.   So far, the appeal has not been acted upon.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

Sources close to Dargani said that their friend admitted that he was intoxicated with a combination of alcohol and either cocaine or shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride).

Dargani explained that this was why he didn’t stop to help his victims, saying that doing so would enable the police to get hold of him and subject him to alchohol/drug tests.

By delaying his appearance before police authorities by 48 hours, Dargani’s body would have had enough time to eliminate trace chemicals of any illegal drugs that he may have consumed on the night of the accident.

NOT THE FIRST TIME FOR DARGANI

Our sources say that this is NOT the first time that Dargani had figured in a car accident that claimed lives.

Ten years ago, Dargani was involved in a hit-and-run incident.  He apparently paid his driver to take the blame for the accident.
