Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima is the Biggest and Ugliest Pig in Pnoy’s Administration

Word has been going around that the P10 Billion Pork Barrel Scam is nothing more than President Benigno S. Aquno III’s attempt to cover-up for the his sister and brother in law’s involvement in the $30 Million Czech Inekon extortion attempt.

I would agree, but it’s quite inaccurate because it overlooks the blatant and long-running corruption being perpetrated by his Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima.

Just recently, the fat and ugly swine of a secretary Purisima managed to tighten his strangle hold on the Bureau of Customs.  In a recent news report in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Purisima put in his own men at the BoC:

...retired Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff Jessie Dellosa and two others had been recommended for deputy commissioner posts at the BOC by Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima.

Purisima reportedly endorsed Dellosa to be customs deputy commissioner for intelligence and enforcement. The position merges the jobs of Deputy Commissioner for Enforcement Horacio Suansing Jr. and resigned Deputy Commissioner Danny Lim.

Purisima also nominated Trinidad Rodriguez, executive director of the National Tax Research Center, and Myrna Chua, director at the Department of Budget and Management. They would replace Deputy Commissioners Peter Manzano and Juan Lorenzo Tañada, the latter having also resigned.

Two others, Primo Aguas and Agaton Teodoro Uvero, have been recommended by Purisima to take over the posts currently held by Ma. Caridad Manarang, head of the BOC management information system, and Prudencio Reyes, chief of the bureau’s assessment and operations coordinating group.

But just what do we have against the fat, ugly, stinking Pig Purisima?

Just for starters, let’s talk about how the man was able to amass over nearly a P100 million by 2011 despite being jobless and despite the fact that his business or businesses hadn’t posted profits or dividends for the past 6 years.

cesar's SALN3

What is damning about revelation is that it didn’t come from just any whistle-blower with dubious motives, the figures you see on the left is actually from Piggy Purisima’s own SALN.

It is quite curious that this didn’t trigger Malacanang into conducting a life-style check when it was so quick to have former Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona impeached on account of a number of bank documents and real properties.

Let us just emphasize a few things in Piggy Purisima’s SALN:

In 2011 House & Lot increased to P99,529,124 from P5,444,630 in 2005 and in 2011, his wife Corazon, suddenly had investments of P10,338,827.

Now what kind of business can suddenly create such huge amounts of money in 5 years?

CESAR PURISIMA HARI NG ANOMALYA SA CUSTOMSFinancial Oinker Purisma’s explanation doesn’t make sense at all.  In the years he did not declare income, Purisima said he had not salary as he was unemployed. Purisima did have businesses, he said, but only as an investor. “The reason that you cannot see the passive income in my ITR from 2006 to 2009 is that you don’t include passive income in ITR,  Nagsubok ako magnegosyo pero investor ako. Walang dividends yun dahil nagsisimula pa lang mga yun.”

I am a 65 year old grandma, requesting you to gather all the evidence and published them so speculation will be given justice to be true. Less talk and more action on your side, will be very much appreciated, People will know that all you have written are true and correct if you do justice to what you have exposed. And a piece of unsolicited advise.. be more professional in your words…some ethics please, gentleman…

Grandma Herminia, this post is a first in a series of blog posts on Purisima and is based on 5 videos on youtube. We’ve looked it over carefully and have discovered that these are based on publicly available documents (Purisima’s SALN, congressional hearing transcripts, etcetera).

I saw him the other day at his father’s wake. He’s not that ugly! HAGGARD YES, BUT NOT THAT UGLY! Oh, his money? At a young age, he was already earning a lot! I MEAN A LOT! I just know him, I’m closer to the late Justice, his father.

Sorry to hear about his father’s death. But yes, in some cultures, Purisima could be viewed as not ugly. And as for his money, his explanation regarding his SALN just doesn’t fly with us.
